 running errands, I took a pit stop at Wendy's for their current 99 cent double stack and 99 cent Frosty promotion. They were what they were. But a haircut was on my list of things to do, and as I was leaving Wendy's I spied Fantastic Sams in the same shopping center across the parking lot. I was going to go to the one in Weho, so why not give this one a try?

There were only two operators on duty and one other guy waiting, so it wasn't long before I was in Mimi's chair.  I just needed a little trim as I'm trying to let my hair grow longer.

The bonus was Mimi is Korean and we talked about our favorite foods and restaurants the whole time. She was impressed with my knowledge of K-town, Little Tokyo and San Gabriel eateries.

She got me to sign up for FS email promotions for unadvertised discounts on  services. If the price is right, maybe I'll think about covering my gray, but it looks so good on me.

I received a decent barber shop haircut for $16 plus tip, and better than the one I got at the Weho location.  If I go there again in a month I'll stop off first at the In-N-Out burger just two blocks away.
